Student support services are provided to all the students of IMTECH to keep track of their needs and to help them overcome their difficulties, academic and otherwise:
Library: IMTECH has a well-maintained library with books on academic and general reading. Special emphasis has been given to keep more books on English Literature, Science and Science Fictions, Books on moral education besides a large collection of books on subjects like biography and autobiography, accountancy, commerce, Economics, business & management, computer etc. The library is constantly developed by regular purchase of more and more books on different subjects.
Transportation: IMTECH provides transport facility to its regular students from various parts of Sharjah and from nearby emirates like Dubai, Ajman, Ras Al Khaima, Umm Al Quwain etc.
Students Login System: IMTECH provides an online IPTS (individual performance tracking system) (under construction) facility to all its students and parents by which they can continuously have a track of the students attendance, performance and progress. The system also facilitates the student to discuss various things with the other students / parents over the web, put requests for difficulty solving or special counselling session with a faculty member on a need basis. Students / parents can also send in their feedback through the system which the management regularly tracks and makes needful adaptations to the course structure to maximize the comfort and satisfaction of the students and parents with our programs.
Mentor System: Each student at IMTECH is assigned a particular faculty member as Mentor. The student and the mentor interact regularly and the mentor will personally guide the student to work around with his/her difficulties with the academic program. The mentor will also help the student to deal with other problems besides academic performance like time management, stress management, examination anxiety etc. The mentor will also constantly motivate the student to keep performing better and conducts regular counselling sessions for the student along with the concerned parents.
Parents – teachers meetings: IMTECH organizes regular parents-teachers meetings for a direct interaction of the parents with all the faculty members teaching their children. This 2-way direct communication process helps both the entities understand all the aspects of the course in progress and is very useful in evolving the best preparation plan for the students.
Regular Test: Regular practice tests (including surprise tests) will be conducted and proper feedback will be provided to the students so that they can monitor their progress. Throughout the course there will be various in-class short quizzes, objective tests, topic-wise tests and full portion tests. For every major test, the highest and average marks and the performance of the student including his rank will be intimated to the student.
